The Out of the Cocoon is a breathtaking interactive seating installation that brings people together in a beautiful and immersive environment. Originally created for the Summer Lights Festival at Canary Wharf, the sculpture combines light, colour and sustainability to create a memorable feature for weddings, corporate events and luxury celebrations.
Standing 3 metres high, with four spectacular wings spanning 4.2 metres wide, the installation comfortably seats up to 12 guests, making it the perfect place to relax, socialise or capture unforgettable photographs. Throughout the day, the iridescent wings catch the natural sunlight, filling the surrounding space with shimmering rainbow reflections. Powered primarily by solar energy, the installation has sustainability at its heart while requiring minimal energy consumption.
An optional immersive ambient soundscape can play continuously throughout the event, creating a peaceful atmosphere from morning through to late evening. As night falls, the integrated LED lighting gently illuminates the wings with beautifully changing colours, transforming the sculpture into a glowing sanctuary that naturally draws guests in and creates an enchanting focal point.
The Out of the Cocoon provides a unique setting for conversation, quiet reflection and photography, while adding a striking visual statement to any marquee, garden or outdoor venue.
